Here We Go!!!

Only a day away to Westfest...Its been a crazy couple of weeks but now I'm able to focus on the food. Yah!. The truck has come out of K6 media for the last time, and thanks again they did a great job. The design of the truck was done by a good friend of mine Steve Capyk...also a great potter...also a great chef. Steve has helped me in so many ways and has supported me along the way. Thank you!

I have a wonderful crew this weekend they are Janice Toll and Luke Bowen. They have been my line mates at Fraser Cafe for the last two years, and the perfect duo for my first event. I'm located just beside Baker Street Cafe..come down and check us out.

Westfest Menu!

Here is our first menu,

Homemade beverage:

Strawberry/Raspberry/Mint fizzy.

Starter:

Smoke trout and bacon gaucamole with lime wedge and homemade cumin chips.

Mains:

Crispy fried green tomato sandwich with home made potato chips.
    panko breaded green tomato/basil mayo/smoked mozzarella/pickled red onions/lettuce.

Haddock N Chips.
    beer battered haddock/house made tartar sauce/fries.

Masa cakes with jerk chicken and mango salsa.
    home made jerk sauce/pulled roasted chicken/mango salsa/slaw/cilantro.


Dessert:

Fresh mini doughnuts filled with home made strawberry sauce.

     I think this a great first menu, and I hope everyone can find something they like. See you all on Jun 9th and 10th.
